About

Aleks

About me:

Hi, I’m Aleks, a qualified BACP Integrative Counsellor.

I’m glad you are here.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck or just unsure where to turn, please know you are not aloneand you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I offer a warm, compassionate and confidential space where you can be heard, understood and supported at your own pace and in your own way.

What to expect:

As an integrative counsellor, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I blend different approaches to suit you as a whole person. Together, we might explore how your past is shaping your present, gently challenge unhelpful thought patterns or work through different emotions that feel too heavy to carry alone. Most of all, we will focus on what you need- moment by moment-to move towards healing and clarity. My role isn’t to give you advice or fix you- because I truly don’t believe you are broken. I will walk alongside you as we explore what’s going on beneath the surface and begin to make gentle, meaningful shifts.

Types of counselling I offer:

Telephone and on-line sessions.

I can offer face-to-face sessions but only in Wigan area.

Availability: Mondays and Fridays

Qualifications:

Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Level 4

CPD: Trauma and PTSD training

Suicide Support Interventions

Therapeutic Approaches (Healing after Domestic Abuse)

Trauma- Dissociation and Somatisation

Where does my money go?

The money we receive for these sessions pays the counsellor for their time and covers their other costs such as insurance and professional supervision. The remaining money goes directly into supporting our charity: www.chrysaliscentre.org. So by helping yourself you are also helping the charity and therefore hundreds of other women.
