About Me

Hiya, I’m Steph, thank you for reading my profile. I am a fully-qualified Person-Centred counsellor with further training in the Rewind Technique for use in the treatment of phobias and PTSD, and I am also a fully qualified ATSAC Sex Addiction therapist with experience in working with sex and love addicts, and their partners and families using solution-focused therapy techniques; this means that I am able to offer an integrated approach to suit your individual needs.

I take part in regular CPD to enhance my practice and enable me to continue to give my best to all my clients. Because I have a keen interest in sex & relationships and trauma/PTSD, a great deal of my further development focuses on these areas, along with creative, Eco, and holistic therapies. I am passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding issues that are still considered “taboo” in modern society, and I believe that, with the right help at the right time, everyone can find the healing that they need to lead a happy life.

What to expect

I’ve worked with a wide variety of issues (I’ve listed some of them for you below); there is no problem too big or too small, and I like to make my clients feel comfortable and safe enough that they feel able to bring absolutely anything to our sessions – there is no topic off limits. In our first session together we will look at what has brought you to counselling and what you hope to gain from working together. Giving you back control of your life is important to me, so our sessions together will be about making sure that you are getting exactly what you want and need to help you work through your problem.

I’ll be by your side the whole way; you’ve got this!
